Tom is married to Jill Lang. They have five children and five grandchildren. Jill is the executive director of the St. Louis County Bar Association.
Tom is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court. Tom has tried and/or appeared before all levels of trial courts in Missouri and Illinois, and federal district courts in Missouri and California. He has briefed and argued before the Supreme Court of Missouri and Eastern District Court of Appeals.
Tom has successfully handled multimillion dollars of personal injury and wrongful death claims. He has mediated over 150 cases, served as an arbitrator, judicial commissioner, condemnation commissioner, hearing officer, special investigator for a school district, and as a court-designated family mediator in Parenting Plans.
